it's been a while since my last post. i've been pretty busy with school. my two new classes (classical collage, and intro to modern art) are going very well. i've also begun babysitting m mother's good friend's baby, ava. she's 8 months old and i absolutely adore her. other than that, there really hasn't been too much going on, only a few events w
orth remembering. the first is the night milk and my self bounced from hotel party, to the club downstairs, to a house party. (god bless) second was yesterday. we were celebrating alex's 'graduation' and my mother's birthday; so naturally, i decided to bake. unfortunately, toasting coconut quickly turned to almost burning the house down. the cupcakes were delicious nonetheless. anyway, the family came over, we ate, and my cousin and her best friend surprised us by coming down from mahopac. i ended up going with them to the st. anthony's italian festival in astoria after the fam party. and ofcourse the second i saw the temp tattoo booth i knew i was going to get one (two black stars on the inside of each wtrist). also, note: italian festivals are quickly turning into spanish festivals, since queens was once made up of an italian majority, now has a spanish majority. i realized this when i saw the arepas booth next to the zeppolis booth and heard the dj play 'gasolina' right after 'volare.'
